Driver Education Training

Tuesday, September 16th, 2008

Driver training is defined as behind-the-wheel lessons given to students once they complete the classroom program. State licensed instructors train students in dual-controlled vehicles equipped for safety. The instructor has a foot brake attached to the passenger side near the floor, so that the instructor may slow the student down at will. The students who do not meet the age requirement must get written permission from their parents or guardian.

During these in-car training sessions the instructors teach students different aspects of driving. They start by driving on a surface road and learning the basic controls of the car and how to operate it safely. They then progress on to more advanced skills like driving in the dark. At the final stage are trained to drive on the freeway and get exposure to heavy traffic while learning more complex defensive driving skills.

Behind-the-wheel training takes approximately 6 to 10 hours to complete and is spaced out in two-hour sessions taken at the student’s convenience. On completion of the driver-training program, students are awarded a certificate of completion that can then be used to get a driver’s license from the Division of Motor Vehicles. Of course, the student must then pass the DMV requirements, such as knowledge tests and a qualifying driving course.

Driver-training programs are very important for young drivers because they learn the right driving attitudes and develop proper techniques that make them safe and reliable drivers. Without these trainings, the roads would be even more chaotic than they already are.

How To Accelerate Your Business To The Top Where Do I Start

ARE YOU IN THE HABIT OF SUCCESS?

BUSINESS SUCCESS DEPENDS ON DEVELOPMENT OF GOOD HABITS!

Being a successful entrepreneur can be quite challenging to say the least. As an independent, small business owner, I am the CEO, Manager, Customer Service Representative, Office Administrator, and am in charge of Employee Development. As the leader, and possibly the only employee of my company, where and how do I start to implement goodl “habits ” that ultimately will ensure my company’s success?

The good news is we take one step at a time. The first step in developing good business habits is to start reading, or listening to books, ebooks, articles, and magazines that will help you focus on making a winning blueprint for your business. There are a multitude of top business, and personal development materials available at the touch of a keyboard. Books and articles are even available in audio email format which can be downloaded to an MP3 player for your listening convenience. You will want to make a list of known “guru’s” in your particular area of interest and acquire their educational materials. All business’s no matter how small, should have a budget for educational materials. If you are short on time just listen to these materials as you drive, excercise or relax.

Jim Rohn a well known business philosopher, and speaker states if you read one book every month about your industry, in ten years you’ll have read 120 books. That will put you in the top one percent of your field. If you apply the knowledge you learn it will automatically launch your business on the journey to success.

Good “habits” lead to success and where do we learn about the habits of successful people other then just reading about them is studying them personally. In the book “The Power of Focus”, written by Jack Canfield, Mark Hansen and Les Hewitt, we are encouraged to identify successful people in our lives and at least once a month have a conversation with one of these leaders. A lunch meeting or a similiar event sets the stage to personally interview the successful person, and find out about their routines, habits, what they read, what clubs they belong to, how they organize their daily method of operation, goals, dreams, and much more. In other words their we learn the “secrets of success”. Most successful people will be delighted to share their knowledge with you, and enjoy being your personal coach.

BUT I DON’T HAVE TIME TO…………

Unfortunately, most of us believe this is too much trouble and make excuses as to why we can not take time for educational development. Successful people are too busy, they won’t have time, I don’t know any successful people and on and on the excuses go. Make a list of the names of people you know and consider to be successful, network and ask others for names of truly successful people, they do not have to be in your exact area of business. Do some research, have fun and see how many names you can come up with. If you can’t take them out for lunch, perhaps make a telephone call and set up a scheduled time to interview them. Meet and spend time with successful people, attend a local meeting of business owners and you will eventually have more people to interview then you can manage.

Learning and applying the habits of successful people will shorten your learning curve in any business and accelerate your personal and business success.

For those people who see the value in working with other successful people, you might even consider finding a personal coach or mentor and meet together on a regular basis in person or by teleconferencing. There are plenty of these qualified individuals. One that I personally reccommend, who is a Business Coach and Personal Development Leader, is a man named David Neagle, I have heard him speak and have attended several teleconferencing calls with him. I cannot say enough about this individual and how many successful people he has helped along the way. Reach out and find someone you can trust and work from there.

Remember to add to your reading list biographies of successful people, listen to documentaries and be ready to have your business take off straight to the top. Soon you will be one of the successful business owners that people want to interview. There are no limits to our potential only self-imposed limits.

Drivers Education Online

Monday, September 1st, 2008

Traditionally, students could take driver education courses in high schools or at a private school. This required the students to put in extra hours after school or attend the classes during weekend in order to finish the driver education course. One major disadvantage of this is the amount of time the student has to compulsorily spend to attend the course class everyday.

Keeping this in mind, several websites presently offer online driver’s education courses. Most states have a DMV website that provides the course as per the regulations and rules followed in that state. Online driver education has become increasingly popular and is one way to save time and money. Driver’s education courses have adapted over the years to become considerably easier for people of all ages. A wide variety of accredited drivers education courses, training aides, and study guides are available online. It is suggested to check out the various choices while looking for a driver education course or service. Different drivers education offerings have different prices and might not be acceptable in all states.

A recent study shows that home-study students performed just as well or better than classroom students on the learner’s permit test. Online courses provide the benefit of the students having parental involvement and guidance while studying.

Driver education courses usually indicate that the student must attend a minimum of 25 classes before appearing for the exam. One advantage with online courses is that the student can take as long as required without the pressure of having to finish the course before a deadline. The exam can be taken online whenever the student feels comfortable. Also, the exam can be taken at the local DMV office. Most of the websites that deal with online courses also provide a number of sample and practice exams online so as to make the student feel confident before appearing for the main exam.

After the exam is completed successfully, the DMV approved certificate of completion is sent by the next day.
